Nuclear Regulatory Authority

Nuclear Regulatory Authority (the Authority) conducts its regulatory control duties to ensure that activities related to nuclear energy and ionizing radiation are carried out safely, securely, and in accordance with international obligations, based on the principle of peaceful use.

The Authority has established an Integrated Management System to effectively perform the duties assigned and exercise the authorities granted by the Nuclear Regulatory Law No. 7381, dated March 5, 2022; Presidential Decree No. 95 concerning the Organization and Duties of the Nuclear Regulatory Authority; and other related legislation.


Regulatory Control Policy

The purpose of the Regulatory Control Policy (RCP) is to establish a framework for ensuring effective regulatory control over activities involving nuclear energy and ionizing radiation in accordance with the objectives of Law No. 7381. The RCP outlines institutional commitments and sets the strategic direction for the Authority's objectives.

Occupational Health and Safety Policy

The purpose of the Occupational Health and Safety Policy (OHSP) is to ensure a healthy and safe working environment in line with the objectives of Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331, dated June 20, 2012. The OHSP outlines institutional commitments and sets the strategic direction for the Authority's objectives in this area.

Our Integrated Management System Certifications

The Authority’s Integrated Management System complies with the requirements of TS EN 9001:2015 Quality Management System and TS ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System standards and has been certifies since 2021. Following audits conducted by the Turkish Standards Institute in 2024, the continuation of these certifications was confirmed. The Integrated Management System certifications are provided below.
